March is Women’s History Month and we will be featuring some outstanding female FOMO Sapiens on the podcast all month long for a special break between seasons.
Kelsey Ramsden has taken her over 15 years of expertise funding, scaling, and operating businesses across Canada and the Caribbean and applied it to her innovative new company, Mind Cure Health, which aims to change the way we understand, apply, and optimize psychedelic and digital therapeutics.
Kelsey explains how her own personal experience with psychedelics in a clinical setting helped her overcome the challenges that plagued her throughout her life, baseless feelings of never being enough or the unnecessary compulsion to over-justify herself and her ideas. Inspired by her own personal improvement, Kelsey no longer felt the need to prove herself to others or be held to some imaginary unattainable standard but rather set out to help provide access to this alternative treatment to the world. Facing not only cultural but legal and regulatory challenges, Kelsey explains how her company promotes long-term healing while providing vital resources for researchers, clinicians, and patients alike.
