When it comes to finding a surrogate, intended parents face lots of pain points. The market is inefficient, opaque, and analog. Enter world-renowned fertility expert, Brian Levine, MD., who is the founder of Nodal, a platform that connects surrogates and intended parents while eliminating the most common pain points for both.
On this episode of FOMO Sapiens, we will learn how Nodal uses efficiency, compatibility, transparency, and empowerment through education, to provide tailored support for all parties throughout their journey to build families. We’ll also learn how Brain convinced his investors – and how he convinces his clients – to join him on the journey.
Meet our guest:
Dr. Brian Levine is the Founder of Nodal, a surrogacy matching platform that offers transparency, equity, education and support to both surrogates and intended parents. He has spent the past 10 years at one of New York’s most recognized fertility practices. As someone who is incredibly passionate about helping others start or grow their families, Dr. Levine always felt uncomfortable when discussing surrogacy with potential intended parents. In fact, he would preface almost every conversation with the phrase “we’re about to have a really terrible talk” as surrogacy as it is known today is an expensive and opaque process. After so many of these conversations, he knew it was time to re-imagine the system. In 2021, he raised $4.7M to build Nodal and brought on the best minds in the business, several of which have been surrogates or parents via surrogacy, to build the platform together.
